Call for Papers

  • Biodiversity conservation of territories for a sustainable beekeeping in the face of climate change effects

We would like to inform you about the special issue of the Biological Research Journal on the occasion of the Apimondia Congress.

Biological Research is calling for submissions to an upcoming Collection on “Biodiversity conservation of territories for a sustainable beekeeping in the face of climate change effects.”

This Collection is based on the main topics and recent and relevant studies related to the Apimondia Congress 2023 in Chile with a special focus on the biological and biochemical principles of beekeeping activity as a basis for the preservation of endemic and native floral resources. The characterization and quality of bee products will be addressed with special concern to honey fraud detection.

The organizing committee of the APIMONDIA International Congress will select a list of researchers who presented their works at the Congress and will extend them an invitation to submit their respective manuscript to Biological Research, which will be editorially managed as a regular manuscript.

Selection the manuscripts will be done after the abstract submission process of 48th Apimondia International Congress is completed. Also, it has to be remarkable that this special issue is open only for the participants of Apimondia Congress with at least one submitted and accepted abstract on the system. This is not a special number to everyone who wants to submit a manuscript.

Submisson for this special issue will be online via BRES web page which is https://www.biomedcentral.com/collections/BCTSBFCCE
